My bedroom! It's hideous.

My laundry...let's call it a pile.. I just *love* having to mess with it each morning to get ready for work and starting my day with an XL dose of "I should"🙄

Paperwork for me . As soon as I toss it turns out I need it again. Or I put it in a pile to scan, which stacks up faster than I can get to it so another pile. Lots of filing boxes & working on a system to Simplify but its a constant battle. Just cleaned out parents home & will need shredder for tons of papers with bank & Ss numbers of many living family. Digital is also going to need some work but I am now spending time I dont have eliminating email I didnt ask for from 6 different email addresses. Thats why I feel certain online platforms are a menace as they just bomb with email. Its all so much time & tiring. How do people do it??

How about throwing out the box with the microwave instructions for the tv dinner and you need to pull it out of the trash because you forgot something?

My home office/craft room was eligible for Federal disaster relief for, oh, 2 years. Pile of laundry needing ironed (yes, same pile for 2 years), mess on craft table, mess on sewing table. It wasn't until last week when I complained to my husband about how the portable swamp cooler had overtaken the room (and he agreed to move it to another place in the house) that I finally got motivated to tackle the room. Rewashed and ironed the pile, threw away a bunch of stuff, put away a bunch of other. Room transformed.

My apartment could still qualify.

I have two or three overflowing laundry baskets of clean-ish clothes that I just need to find a home for. This stack just keeps getting cycled through as I wear something, wash it, then add it back to the pile. Truly, I need to clean out my closet, but the shame I carry for overbuying clothes that just sit in the closet or storage totes eats away at me every time I look at it.

I’ve had a stack of dishes in my sink for so long that I don’t even know when said stack started 😞🤦🏾‍♀️🥴 I either wash dishes on the other side of the sink as soon as I use them……..or they get added to “the stack”.

I never attributed it to my ADHD but I feel different about the stack now that I see it. Going to try imagining my kitchen is someone else’s! Hopefully I make my way back to this comment section but if I don’t, at least I know you won’t take it personal 😏😉
