1. Think of doing the task as "reducing a pain" instead of something where you need to exceed expectations.
2. The good, better, best framework for getting started. Give yourself three options: good (bare minimum that counts as done), better (ideal outcome), best (if everything goes perfectly). Then aim for good and celebrate if you hit it!
3. Use time as anchor. Instead of thinking "I need to finish this task today", say "I will spend 10 minutes doing the task". (Post on this coming out this weekend)
